Stanbridge are adding a new 'pay as you go' call out system to their traditional/service routines to help Hospitals cope with
the new attitudes and priorities of decontamination for good infection control.
Ideally no big bills and no surprises.
As Care Quality Commission goes live this 'back room' work assumes a higher
priority to keep the Sluice Room equipment in tip top order and continuously operational. This also includes the statutory requirement to regularly have sterilisers and bed pan washer/disinfectors
temperature validated.
This is in the best interest of patients and staff.
Good equipment designs are important but breakdowns puncture the barrier to cross infection.
New attitudes to protect people are now being imposed
across the whole health care spectrum.
