Stanbridge modern slavery policy

Stanbridge Limited is a manufacturer of Bedpan washer disinfectors based in Dartford, Kent.

Our turnover is below the threshold requirements for section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act as our maximum turnover is less than £36 million per annum.

Stanbridge Limited is a responsible family business and has been trading for almost 70 years. It is our promise to act ethically and with integrity in all our business dealings and relationships.

We have long-standing relationships with most of our suppliers, who are predominantly UK based.

As part of our initiative to identify and mitigate risk, last year we carried out a review of our supply chain to assess any areas of potential risk. Given the responses received, the business integrity and locations do not lead us to consider there to be a risk of forced labour, child labour or human trafficking amongst our suppliers.

Within our company, all employees are required to supply documentary evidence of their entitlement to work in the UK and all employees are required to hold a UK bank account. All members of staff are encouraged to report any concerns relating to forced labour, child labour, trafficking or coercion to the company management.

Modern Slavery Training is included in ongoing company training for all employees and is supported and referenced in our company handbook.

We constantly monitor our relationship with our suppliers, and their adherence to the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

We issue every employee with a written contract and pay them in accordance with the current laws and follow all current employment regulations.

This statement is made pursuant to the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes our policy for the financial year end June 2026. All employees are issued with a copy of this policy and are required to sign upon commencement of employment with the company and whenever the policy is revised or updated.
