What is HTM 2030?

Health Technical Memoranda or HTM’s for short outline the correct methods and procedures for the design, installation and operation of washer disinfectors used within a healthcare setting. 

We as manufacturers of bedpan washer disinfectors and you as the operators, are required to meet the regulations laid out in HTM 2030. The aim of HTM 2030 is to reduce the risk of infection during the process of disposal of human bodily fluids.

The HTM 2030 is a comprehensive document split into three main sections; operational management, design considerations and validation & verification. These sections cover the required standards for the machine’s entire life cycle.
