What is a CS1 ST Bedpan Washer / Disinfector?

The Compact Superior 1 (CS1) washes and disinfects multiple utensils one at a time, such as our reusable bed pans, commode pots and urine bottles. It is specially designed for care and nursing homes. The CS1 provides an effective infection control barrier which protects residents and staff from the risk of cross-infection and management from potential liabilities.

Stanbridge utensil washer disinfectors are manufactured to meet British Standards, the recommendations of WRAS, and meet EN ISO 15883-1 & ISO 15883-3.

What prerequisites are required for the installation of a bedpan washer disinfector?

The following requisites are required for installation: 

• A 16amp Neon safety isolating switch needs to be accessible. 
• A cold water feed supply within 1 metre of the machine location.
• All water services need to be within 1 metre of the machine location.
• Access to a 4-inch soil pipe within 1 Metre of the machine location.
