What is a CS2 ST Bedpan Washer / Disinfector?

The Compact Superior 2 (CS2) washes and disinfects reusable utensils, such as bed pans and commode pots, two at a time and is specially designed for care and nursing homes. The CS2 provides an effective infection control barrier which protects residents and staff from the risk of cross-infection and management from potential liabilities.

Stanbridge utensil washer disinfectors are manufactured to meet British Standards, the recommendations of WRAS, and meet EN ISO 15883-1 & ISO 15883-3.

What prerequisites are required for the installation of a bedpan washer disinfector?

The following requisites are required for installation: 

• A 16amp Neon safety isolating switch needs to be accessible. 
• A cold water feed supply within 1 metre of the machine location.
• All water services need to be within 1 metre of the machine location.
• Access to a 4-inch soil pipe within 1 Metre of the machine location.
